01

API REQUEST

Inbound API call with headers, body, and authentication credentials.

02

REQUEST NORMALIZATION

Canonical serialization ensures deterministic parsing across environments.

03

IDENTITY VALIDATION

Authentication credentials inspected for presence, format, and token validity.

04

AUTHORIZATION POLICY

Scope enforcement validates the caller's permission to perform the requested operation.

05

INPUT / SCHEMA VALIDATION

Request body fields validated for type, range, presence, and against schema constraints.

06

SECURITY ANALYSIS

Findings from all checks aggregated into a composite risk profile.

07

POLICY DECISION

TRUSTED / FLAGGED / BLOCKED decision emitted with full audit trail.

REFERENCE ARCHITECTURE

The production architecture routes every API request through an isolated Java / Spring Boot security service that enforces authentication, authorization, and input policies before proxying to protected upstream services.

This demonstration executes entirely client-side using browser JavaScript. Java is not executed on this demonstration server. No external API calls are made.
